About

Dear The Cultural Frontier fans,

The Cultural Frontier is a young Taiwanese (Chinese, we all come from the same root hundred years ago) adult who has various insights towards Chinese culture. The articles above are based on own personal perspective through several years of Chinese cultural acknowledgements, but there might be exceptions towards the things mentioned or explained however. Apart from sharing Chinese culture, this is the blog where you can find insights towards the very small details of Chinese cultural misunderstandings, doubts, and confrontations.

Feel free to drop comments below or any new cultural aspects that you might have encounter in your daily life. Last but not least, don’t forget to subscribe for automatic triple updates in a week!

Sincerely yours,

  1. Hello,

My name is Luke Fisher and I an American filmmaker collaborating with a Chinese co-director on a short film shot in China this summer. Our film is about the near extinction of the Eurasian Sparrow in China and how it lead to the starvation of 30 million people, the largest famine in human history. It follows two children as they hunt their village’s last sparrow to save their sick grandma. We think we have a very unique story that members of the cultural frontier would be interested in.

Below is a link to a video that explains more about the project:

We’d really like your blog’s help in increasing the outreach for this culturally significant film. If you’d like to know more you may email me at luke.c.fisher13@gmail.com

You can also find more on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/emptyskiesfilm.

    Thank you for your time.

    Luke Fisher
